Operations-The SQL Server Development DBA is responsible for providing operational and technical support for our database environment, focusing on Development and QA environments and backing up the lead production DBA on production issues. Some of the primary responsibilities of this role would include owning, tracking and resolving database related incidents and requests in Dev, QA and production environments, reviewing service related reports (database backups, maintenance, monitoring) on a daily basis to ensure service related issues are identified and resolved, responding to database related alerts and escalations and working with database team to come up with strategic solutions to recurring problems.

Description – this position is 60% ETL, 20% reporting and 15% back office database work

The primary focus of this position requires expertise in integrating distributed systems and applications built on vendor implemented software platforms, both in-house and in a hosted environment. The Application Developer will be responsible for integrating and maintaining the organization’s applications, typically multi-tier, which rely upon relational database technologies and web interfaces incorporating financial processes and workflows.
